October 2010:
Tyler Carpenter parks his Volkswagen bus near Incinerator Rock on Long Beach, a popular surf spot, on a trip from his home in Parksville(on the other side of Vancouver Island) to Tofino. Carpenter was staying with his girlfriend Nedda Byblow of North Vancouver on the trip to celebrate their 10-year anniversary and do some surfing.
